LOCATION

Finca Sabai is located in the center of Gran Canaria, situated at the end of a very quiet barranco it stretches over three administrative districts. The entry of the property lies in the district of Santa Brigida, the house and the caves are in Vega de San Mateo, and one part of the land is in Valsequillo. Characteristic for this area are wide and fertile planes whose slopes and valleys are almost permanently green. Many farms grow various crops and fruit trees in this zone. Depending on who you ask, the exact location of Finca Sabai is either in El Gamonal or in La Bodeguilla. Either way, these are settlements where for centuries the land was dedicated to the cultivation of vines. The wines produced in this area matured in caves, just like the ones which now serve as accommodation at our Finca. La Bodeguilla and El Gamonal are neighborhoods with beautiful views of the mountains and the coastal area. It is a perfect area to go hiking or to explore various trails with the mountain bike. Visitors can also try various products produced in the area, such as cheese and wine, and visit the producers. It is a zone of great tranquility to disconnect and relax. In summer you can spend hours watching the stars and in winter you can enjoy pleasant walks, and if you feel like a change, then within half an hour you can be in warmer coastal areas. Spring is spectacular at our Finca, with the fruit trees and almond trees in full bloom and colorful blankets of flowers.
